Tour Tagus River South Bank – Almada-Seixal-Caparica
From Lisbon, we take you along the most beautiful roads, to discover the beauty of the south bank of the River Tagus; charming beaches, one of the last Portuguese Navy Frigates and other places of interest. The Tagus South Bank Tour, begins and ends in Lisbon. Cross the Tagus River over the 25 de Abril bridge and start the visit on the South Bank at Cristo Rei, from where you can admire a breath-taking view over Lisbon. We go down to the river bank to visit the last frigate of the Indies lines. The next stop is an old and still functional tidal mill and, still beside the river we visit the Naval Nucleus of Seixal, to see a collection of miniatures of typical boats that sailed in the Tagus up to the middle of the last century, ensuring transportation of people and goods between the two banks. We have lunch in Seixal bay and then stroll along the soft sandy beaches of Costa da Caparica.
All year, from Tuesday to Sunday.
